Solange has been giving me the vibe of 70s Donna Summer lately with her hair & wardrobe! She is first pictured wearing a metallic maxi dress at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards ceremony (06.03.14). Second, Solange is shown wearing an orange blouse and cream trousers at Gucci’s Chime for Change one-year anniversary party (06.04.14).

Pictured last, Donna Summer is shown rocking a live performance in the 1970s.

These are two talented, timeless beauties.

Egg Sunny Side Up, Spinach & Mushrooms
This egg and veggie combo gives your body everything it needs in the mornings. The bread will keep you full until lunch and the protein from the egg will give you energy. Plus, nutrient-rich spinach is one of the best leafy greens to start off your day.
Plain Greek Yogurt, Blueberries & a Sprinkle of Cinnamon
If you have a sweet tooth, this one is for you. You will get a protein and probiotic boost from the Greek yogurt, and major antioxidants from the blueberries. Instead of using sugary honey on top, I sprinkled a pinch of cinnamon for a low-calorie kick.
Peanut Butter & Strawberries
While it may be simple, this energy breakfast is satisfying and delicious. Peanut butter on toast is one of my go-to snacks, but I like to add in some vitamin C-rich strawberries to help boost my immune system.
Egg Sunny Side Up, Avocado & Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Being a self-professed avocado addict, this last recipe is my favorite of the four. Simply spread avocado on your bread, sprinkle some crushed red pepper, and top it off with an egg. The avocado will give your body healthy fats that promote shiny hair and glowing skin and the red pepper will give your metabolism a little boost too. If you’re a Sriracha fan, feel free to sub the spicy sauce for the crushed red pepper.

50 Cent Talks Vision Boards, Romance, + New Music with GQ | Imagine what it would be like to spend the day with 50 Cent. Zach Baron, Staff Writer at GQ, was afforded the opportunity to do just that. Zach “took a walk in 50’s shoes” if you will, for a few days. They discussed vision boards, fitness, and romantic relationships, but most striking was their conversation about the state of 50’s music career.
50 Cent made the decision to leave Interscope in February 2014 because he felt that he was no longer a priority for the record label. He tells GQ, “When people couldn’t care less about you actually being successful, you can feel it.”
Around 50’s third album, Curtis, he could sense things beginning to change for him as an artist. This was in 2007, the same year he challenged Kanye West to a competition in album sales, pitting his Curtis against Kanye’s Graduation. 50 lost the challenge. 50 says of Graduation, “I listened to that shit a million times.” Regarding his decline in sales and the shift in his music career, he goes on to say, “Maybe I was supposed to be under a palm tree, instead of putting the record out.”
Taking a pause from music, 50 took up acting, released an energy drink, and wrote a couple of books. Now, he’s gearing up for the release of his upcoming fifth album, Animal Ambition, to be released Tuesday, June 3. It is reported that the album will address 50’s relationships with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, both former members of G-Unit. 50 tells GQ, “If you spent ten years watering it, it’d fucking grow. Doesn’t that tell you you need to get new seeds? Fuck this. New seeds - let’s do something different now.”
He continues, “I enabled these guys… I wouldn’t have been a friend if I didn’t help them. But helping them hurt them. Can you see that concept?”
On whether 50 misses Banks and Yayo in his life, he says, “Not really. Not now. I make adjustments.”
